Natassa, a Thessaloniki native, is an accomplished professional with a robust academic foundation. She holds a degree in Geology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and furthered her education with a Master’s in “Ecological Water Quality and Management at a River Basin Level” from the same institution. Natassa has also acquired certified expertise in GIS, civil protection, and green digital skills.

Natassa’s career journey began at the Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploitation (IGME), advancing through key positions at the Soil and Water Research Institute (ELGO-DIMITRA), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Development Agency of Local Authorities “Anatoliki S.A.” and the Collective Alternative Management System “Anakem”. Within these roles, she spearheaded numerous EU co-funded initiatives centered on sustainable development (LIFE, INTERREG, HORIZON, ESPA etc), circular economy, and building resilient cities. Natassa demonstrated proficiency in overseeing technical, financial, communication, and administrative facets, with certain projects receiving accolades from the EU. Her specialization encompasses geology in water and soil resource management (EU Directives), fostering close partnerships with governmental entities.

Natassa has seamlessly transitioned to the public sector, taking on the pivotal role of Secretary General at the Municipality of Thermaikos in the region of Thessaloniki. Her expertise satisfies all administrative, financial, technical, and social skills, competencies and realms, with a strong focus on enhancing citizen service and engagement. Additionally, she plays an active part in various political capacities at both municipal and regional levels.

Natassa’s exceptional expertise in project management, creative thinking, and dedication to community progress make her a key driver of positive change and advocate for sustainable practices for the years to come.
